🙌 Quick-service restaurant Chipotle launched “Freepotle”.
The new perk for members of its Chipotle Rewards loyalty program will provide them with up to 10 free food drops throughout 2023! As part of the promotional strategy, Chipotle is harnessing the power of social media by introducing a new "Freepotle" Prize Wheel on TikTok Live and Instagram Live.
🛒 Asda changes its Rewards loyalty app.
After listening to their customers, Asda made the decision to extend the voucher expiry one to three months, benefitting around three million people. Senior Director of Loyalty at Asda, Mark Baxter, said “we know that many Asda Rewards customers like to save up their Cashpots to spend on special occasions.”
🥪 Jimmy John's revamps its loyalty program with gamification.
The American sandwich chain recently announced that Jimmy John’s Freaky Fast Rewards program is launching achievement badges, which allow customers to combine physical feats with digital badges and rewards.
🏎 NASCAR has launched a new loyalty program called Fan Rewards.
The new program will give away prizes for watching races from home, attending events in person, playing fantasy/trivia games, purchasing merch or visiting the NASCAR HOF. It will give out rewards like tickets, experiences, gift cards and autographed merchandise.
🔨 Retailer The Home Depot has expanded its Pro Xtra loyalty program.
The updates include new membership tiers, Member, Elite, and VIP, with benefits for professional contractors and builders. Molly Battin, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer said "this tiered loyalty system unlocks a new experience of rewards and savings for our Pro customers with more benefits than ever, right at their fingertips."
