Below is a review of the Loyalty Days BENE and DACH events which happened last week! Our MD, Tom Peace attended both days and hosted a workshop for the DACH event.

BENE


This was the second one-day loyalty conference for the BENE region and really built on the success of last year with around 125 people from across the region in attendance. The organisers, Stampix, ran an excellent event with their partner The Bonus Awards.

The presentations were short, informative and fun. I learnt a lot from industry experts and leaders in retail, travel and fuel retail.

Two particular highlights for me were the Loyalty workshop hosted by Phil Shelper and the presentations from Allegro and Q8, talking about how far they have come, but crucially where loyalty is going next in their sectors.

What really struck me was the really open discussions and networking opportunities through this one-day event. If your in loyalty, CRM or customer engagement in the BENE region then this is a MUST DO for next year

DACH


Held in the conference centre at Marriott Hotel Frankfurt Airport, this event was very well attended with around 200 people from across the DACH region. The brands in attendance were varied across a range of sectors. Airlines and retail were particularly well represented, and it was great to see so many brands participating in the discussions.

I particularly enjoyed the presentations from Wyndham Hotels, Miles and More and Payback, who all talked about the future of loyalty in their sectors. The sponsors were also well represented and provided really interesting discussions on how they can provide strong solutions for brands.

I especially enjoyed Comarch’s presentation about Sustainability for Loyalty – an emerging trend that many brands need to consider as members demand sustainable actions from the brands they are loyal too.

The Loyalty Days DACH also hosted the DACH awards, uniquely voted for by members, not industry judges. And what a great night this was! It was amazing to see so many brands getting awards and being recognised by actual member feedback.

Great event, highly recommend!
